Yesterday was the last day for early voting before the November 8 State and Federal General Election on Tuesday.

Voters took advantage of the last day and with 791 votes submitted, it has brought the total number of early votes to 7,263. That has been the most votes submitted so far, since early voting started on October 19th at the Greene County Election Commission office.

This year, Tennessee voters can cast a ballot for or against 4 proposed amendments to the Tennessee Constitution. Those amendments will appear on the ballot directly after candidates for governor and will be presented as yes or no questions. To get familiar with those amendments, you can visit sos.tn.gov/amendments, but tune into Radio Greeneville next week before election, as we will review those amendments in more detail, before more folks hit the polls on Tuesday.
