A gas station in Chuckey reported computer hacking yesterday afternoon at 6910 East Andew Johnson Highway.
Deputy Brittany Willett responded to the Stop and Go Market around 4 PM and spoke with the complainants, who stated they were working on the gas pumps when they noticed a device was placed on one of them. The complainant stated when they previously worked on the pumps there was no device, but he discovered that five of the six pumps now have the unknown devices. He believes they were placed as a scamming device.
No further information was provided on the police report.
