The Friday Greene County Commission candidate interviews on Radio Greeneville News are with those seeking election in the second commission district.
Interviews with those candidates will air this morning after the 10:00 am news update on 99.5 FM/AM 1340 WGRV and wgrv.com.
DISTRICT 2 CANDIDATES
Two of three incumbents in the second commission district, Chase Murray and Brad Peters, are seeking reelection. The other incumbent Joshua Arrowood had planned to run for County Mayor before suspended his campaign. Other Republican candidates on the May ballot in the second commission district are Travis Hoxie, Alan Marsh and Regina Haney Nuckols. Joshua Franklin is also running for County Commissioner in the second district as a Democrat. He is on the May Ballot and will advance to the August general election. Franklin did not respond to our request for an interview. Reagan Arrowood (Joshua’s daughter) and Marie Marsh (Alan’s wife) will seek second district county commission seats, which serves Chuckey and Chuckey Doak. As independents however, neither will be on the ballot until the August General Election.
