Don Carter Oliver, 91, of Tusculum, passed away Thursday, Oct. 22, 2026, at Life Care Center of Greeneville.
He retired from the Greeneville Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service. He attended Ebenezer Church.
Survivors include one son, Carter Reece Oliver; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dale and Judy Reece of Kingsport and Bill and Margaret Reece of Knoxville; three nieces, Sandy, Melanie and Kristi; and one nephew, Rob.
Don was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Paula Reece Oliver, in 2023; parents, Joe and Willie Carter Oliver; and brother, Billy Joe Oliver.
Visitation will be from 1-2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26, 2026, at Doughty-Stevens Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. in the Doughty-Stevens Chapel, with the Rev. Mark Rich officiating.
Interment will be in Philadelphia Cemetery. The Greeneville Police Department Honor Guard will convey honors and serve as pallbearers.
