Burglary was reported at a business on Blue Springs Parkway yesterday.
The complainant told the Greene County Sheriff’s Department she was away since December 17th and after arriving at the business yesterday about 4 PM, she noticed the front and back door of the building were open. According to the report various items were thrown off the shelf and onto the floor throughout the store. Whoever made entry also took the 5 keys, belonging to padlocks for a box trailer, a well house, and 2 exterior buildings on the property.
No suspects are known at the time, although the victim does suspect someone who rents from her, due to getting a phone call while she was away regarding frozen pipes, and her not being able to assist due to being away. No damage was done to the doors and a point of entry could not be established. According to the report, nothing appeared to be stolen.
