Here is an update from TDOT on the Main Street paving schedule:
The revised tentative schedule indicates the milling and paving start dates have been pushed back.
On Friday, milling will take place on Main Street to Ricker Avenue to the far side of State Route 70 near Ace Hardware
On Monday, September 8th , the milled section will be paved and milling of the next section from near Ace Hardware to near McKee Street will take place.
On Tuesday, September 9th, progress will continue on milling and paving operations
