The sewer rehab work on Main Street in Greeneville will be completed this week, which will then allow paving of the highway to begin.
Water Commission Engineer Eric Frye said during the Water Commission meeting Monday the work will be finished by Friday weather permitting.
The sewer rehab has been underway since May in order to make any necessary repairs before paving began.
Monday, work began from Bohannon Avenue to Housley Avenue and then will proceed from Montford Avenue to East Hardin Street.
