One person was transported to a local hospital after his car struck a building Friday evening.
The Town of Mosheim Volunteer Fire Department and Rescue Squad were called to the Marathon market on West Andrew Johnson Highway at Emerald Road just after 7:15 pm Friday. The male driver had struck the propane exchange tank in the front of the building. None of the propane tanks were damaged and there was no fire.
The driver was transported by EMS for treatment. The Town of Mosheim Police and Greene County Sheriff’s Department also responded.
