A man was arrested early this morning for a third time for underage drinking.
Police were called to the Erwin Highway for a complaint of a male wearing a black shirt, staggering in the roadway near Dyer Street.
Officers found a man matching the description and identified him as Gabriel Bacon-Ackley of Kirk Street, and showed him to be under the age of 21. Officers reported Bacon-Ackley had a strong odor of alcohol and blood shot eyes and determined he was intoxicated. For the safety of himself and others, he was taken into custody. According to the police report, Bacon-Ackley was charged two other times this year, in June and September for the same offense.
Additionally, after Bacon-Ackley’s arrest, police found a wallet and bank card in his possession which apparently belonged to another person out of Livingston, Tennessee.
