Over a dozen reports came into the police department Friday of vehicles having been broken into, and items or cash missing.
Victims from Cox Circle reported eight vehicles broken into Thursday night or Friday morning.
Four victims reported their vehicles had been broken into sometime overnight Thursday from Magnolia Drive, and four victims came forward from Forest Street.
At least one report of theft came from Arnold Road, Ross Boulevard, and Linden Street. Several of the victims had multiple cars or trucks burglarized. Video footage showed possibly two male suspects breaking into one victim’s truck.
Various items were reported missing, including debit cards, gift cards, a Bluetooth speaker, personal documents, sunglasses, a knife, and cash estimated at over $1,300.
A conservative number for the total break-ins reported Thursday and Friday was twenty-one.
