Two Charged After Fleeing Pursuit And Wrecking Another Vehicle

Two people face numerous charges after they fled authorities last night.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Department report indicates the incident began on Lonesome Pine Road near Romeo Church.

A vehicle accelerated at a high rate of speed after meeting a deputy cruiser at which time the driver and passenger both covered their faces.

After driving thru a yard at a Lonesome Pine Road residence, the vehicle continued traveling erratically on Self Road then onto Marvin Road before striking an oncoming car.

The driver fled the scene on foot but the passenger was taken into custody. She was identified as Rhonda Laws. Joshua Dean was found in a wooden area not far away. He turned himself in when told the K9 officer was on the way. Various drugs and paraphernalia were found in the vehicle.

Manufacture, Delivery, Sale, or Possession of Methamphetamine
Driving While in Possession of Methamphetamine
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Driving While Revoked First
Schedule 4 Possession

Rhonda Laws is charged with:
Manufacture, Delivery, Sale or Possession of Methamphetamine,
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Schedule 4
Parties to the Offense of (Evading)
