Greeneville City Schools announced Friday the school system will be joining community partners to support local families who may be affected by suspended SNAP or WIC benefits due to the Government shutdown.
Greeneville City Schools plan a districtwide food drive next week to help stock the Family Resource Center and Kay’s Closet, both of which provide food and essentials to families in need.
Those affected by the suspensions are asked to reach out to your school if you are in need of assistance, and they will connect you with the right people.
