Greene County School Board members, County Commissioners and other school system representatives took part in a walk through of the still-under-construction CTE site at Chuckey Doak Tuesday afternoon.
As mentioned at the school board meeting last week, the site is expected to be ready for occupancy by the middle of January, soon after students return from the Christmas break.
CTE teachers were also involved in the walk through on Tuesday, voicing excitement and discussing the projects and the collaboration of students from different classes working together to complete complex projects.
Project Manager Brandon Ketron led the group through the site.
Many of the same group who toured Chuckey Doak Tuesday had also visited the West Greene CTE site in two earlier visits at that school. West Greene CTE students are expected to move into their new building immediately after the Christmas break.
