Police investigated the report of a toolbox taken from the bed of a Ford F250 Saturday.
The victim reported to police that he had a Craftsman rolling toolbox with miscellaneous tools, in the bed of the pickup truck. The complaintant said he last remembered seeing the toolbox in the truck Friday night at his residence in Baileyton.
The man stated he had been to Lowes where he thought it might have been taken, but officers reviewed surveillance footage of the vehicle and saw no one taking the toolbox from the truck.
The value of the toolbox and tools was listed at some $800.
