The Greeneville Fire Department had a busy Wednesday, responding to no less than a dozen calls over a nine-hour period from early yesterday morning until late last night.
Most notably were three fire alarm calls last night, where the Tusculum and Greeneville Fire Departments responded to the Tusculum University campus at 6:17, 6:46 and 11:20 pm. Greeneville firefighters were also dispatched to a business fire alarm on Hankins Street, and a residential call of smoke at a Royce Street home.
Along with Greeneville Police, they were also on the scene of three motor vehicle accidents and responded along with EMS to four medical emergency calls during that time.
