As recommended by the jury, Megan Boswell has received a sentence of life in prison for the death of her daughter Evelyn. In February, Boswell was found guilty on 19 charges, including three counts of first-degree murder. At Friday’s hearing, those three murder charges were rolled into one.
But Judge Jim Goodwin presiding over the hearing in Sullivan County Friday, assured Megan Boswell will never be released from prison, adding an additional 33 years behind bars following the life sentence.
