Travis Woolsey of the Greeneville Water Commission, sent out an update Friday on the sewer rehabilitation work along North Main Street.
The notice stated that sewer rehab work between Bohannon and Housley Avenue will begin Monday. Once this section is complete, the work will move to the section between Montford Avenue and E Hardin Street.
This work is expected to take approximately one week, weather permitting. The closure for this phase will be in effect from August 18 through August 22.
As per usual, through traffic will not be permitted during this phase. Residents and business patrons will maintain access to properties within the work zone. And Emergency vehicles will have access at all times.
