A Telford woman was charged with evading and resisting arrest during a warrant service early Wednesday.
According to Washington County Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies responded to the 100 block of Moccasin Trail shortly after midnight at the request of the Johnson City Police Department, which had a warrant for 52-year-old Shannon Renee Hudson for aggravated burglary. Numerous attempts were made requesting Hudson exit the home over patrol car loud speaker.
After approximately 45 minutes, she came out of the house. As soon as Hudson realized she was seen, she retreated back inside and closed the door on deputies. Deputies entered the residence, located Hudson, and she continued to resist arrest.
Hudson was eventually transported to the Washington County Detention Center on a $22,000 bond. An initial court date was scheduled for Wednesday.
