A Limestone man was arrested Monday after allegedly stealing over $2,000 worth of items from Lowe’s on East Andrew Johnson Highway on several different dates.
According to a report from the Greeneville Police Department, Dustin P. Kodet went through the self-checkout line with multiple items and did not scan all of them before leaving the store.
Kodet stole the merchandise on various dates from April 24 through July 5. In total, he took nearly $2,060 worth of items from the store.
Kodet was able to be identified due to using a tax-exempt card to pay for the scanned items.
He was taken into custody by the Washington County Sheriff’s Department on Monday. He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center, where he was served with the warrant for felony shoplifting.
