The Greeneville City Schools Board of Education will meet this evening at the Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Office on West Depot Street.
The Board will consider a recommendation to increase tuition for students outside the city limits by $50 for the upcoming school year. Currently, tuition for one child who lives in the county is $1,225, two children is $2,400 and three children is $3,525.
Also on the agenda is approval of the purchase of mathematics textbooks for elementary, middle and high school, along with approval of student fees for the 2023-24 school year which will be unchanged from the current year. A vote to grant tenure to 11 candidates will also be held during tonight’s meeting.
The Greeneville City Board of Education meeting begins at 5 p.m. in the Professional Development Center at the central office.
