When the new school year begins, funding for the before school, after school, and summer programs will be in place for those offerings to continue in both Greeneville City and the Greene County School Systems.
Director of City Schools Steve Starnes said last night the release of the 21st Century Grand Funding from the federal government last week allows for $276,000 for such programs in the city schools.
The funds were among many that had been on hold since early this year following the change in administration.
