The Tennessee Main Street Program Annual Conference is coming to Greeneville later this month.
In separate meetings this past week , Partnership President and CEO Jeff Taylor and Main Street: Greeneville Executive Director Jann Mirkov mentioned the conference visit in the middle of the month.
Taylor says in conjunction with the that, members of the state of Tennessee’s Economic Development team will also visit the area.
Taylor says “the economic development members will be reviewing disaster recovery efforts and plans, and get an up close look a the development of the Greene Valley property, the investment with T-CAT, which ties to your workforce development, and then also looking at Snapps Ferry industrial development because they’ve had a hand in that, and also looking at what we’re doing in our downtown. and also looking at our other municipalities as well to see where we can also try to figure out how do we take some of that Main Street mentality and help Mosheim, Baileyton and Tusculum as well.”
