Although accident reports are not yet available on any of the wrecks, emergency personnel responded to three motor vehicle accidents during the 4 o’clock hour Thursday afternoon on East Andrew Johnson Highway near Greene Valley.
Traffic was slowed in both directions as responders investigated and cleared the accident scenes.
The Tusculum Volunteer Fire Department reports it as three separate back-to-back collisions.
Tusculum Police and Greeneville/Greene County EMS also responded.
