Scheduled repairs to Birds Bridge will be completed no later than mid June.
That official word came today from Greene County Road Superintendent Kevin Swatsell. He and department coordinator and assistant Superintendent Gary Rector discussed the repair work during the Budget and Finance Committee meeting.
With repairs beginning three weeks earlier than expected, and the contract calling for the work to be complete in 60 days, Swatsell says that means the repairs from the flooding in September will be completed by June 16th.
