An early morning motor vehicle accident on I-81 this morning has snarled north bound traffic.
Emergency personnel were dispatched at 6:22 am to mile marker 19.1 where a vehicle had left the roadway.
The accident scene was cleared just after 7:30 am and both north bound lanes were reopened.
No further details are available at this time.
The Tennessee Highway Patrol will be investigating.
