Repairs to flood damaged Birds Bridge should begin in April.
That official word came from Greene County Road Superintendent Kevin Swatsell during a pre construction meeting on Wednesday.
Swatsell had said earlier having that bridge open again will be a major step in getting traffic back to normal for those in that area and beyond.
Bridge repairs should take about two months before its reopened to traffic. If all goes as planned, that would be in early June.
The other major bridge closing, Kinser Bridge on Highway 107, is scheduled to be open to traffic again by the end of June.
