It appears as though the same five women who took items from Bath and Body Works in Greeneville Commons February 8th have struck again.
Greeneville Police Officer Derek Casteel responded to a shoplifting call at the store Tuesday morning.
He was told that the same five entered the store between 6:30 and 7:10 Monday evening and took 52 items valued at $1,393 before leaving the store.
As we had reported after the first series of thefts, the store has a policy of not pursuing shoplifters.
FEBRUARY 8TH INCIDENT
Nearly $3000 worth of items were stolen when five women entered the store around 6:30 pm, began putting items in baskets as well as their clothes and then left the store with items without paying. The women came back into the store and two of them filled up baskets again and left without paying the second time.
The February 8th report stated police have the make, model, and license plate of the white car the five women drove away in, as well as their descriptions. Customers reported the women got into a white Hyundai.
