Greeneville Planning Director Randy Davenport updated members of the Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission Tuesday on business and residential construction projects in the East Andrew Johnson Highway area.
PANDA EXPRESS
Panda Express he says, will be opening soon, possibly next week but certainly by the end of the month. The restaurant has received a temporary certificate of occupancy, which allows them to get set up and train staff.
TEXAS ROADHOUSE
He says business is booming but in answer to a question from Commission member Ginny Kidwell about extending of store hours, Davenport says he believes the company plans to maintain current hours of opening at 3 pm on weekdays, and 11 am on Saturday and Sunday.
SIGNAL LIGHT NEARBY
The signal light installation at the Serral Drive entrance to the two eateries , the underground components are in place , and they are on track to have those lights running by the middle of March, which is the contractual deadline for the project.
