A car was destroyed by fire Thursday morning in the parking lot of the Roadrunner Shell on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
The owner of the car told Greeneville Police he pulled into the parking lot around 6:30 am after smoke starting coming through the vents. The car then caught fire, which was extinguished by the Greeneville Fire Department.
There were no injuries or other property damage.
