A Greeneville man was arrested Thursday after he was reportedly spotted running naked near Greeneville Community Hospital.
The Greeneville Police Department responded around 7:00 PM to Tusculum Boulevard after receiving several reports of a man running naked down Tusculum Boulevard in the roadway. Officers made contact with the man, identified as Robert Weckstein of Rankin Drive, at the intersection of Hope Road and Tusculum Boulevard.
Weckstein allegedly would not stand still and appeared to be under the influence of drugs. According to the report, he continued to run in place while being paced into handcuffs and asked officers if he could keep running down the road.
He was transported to the Greene County Detention Center for indecent exposure and public intoxication.
