The Greeneville Police Department spoke with a man on Sunday evening regarding a suspect who stopped in front of his vehicle and assaulted him before driving away.
According to the report, around 6:30 AM the victim was driving on East McKee Street when a black Dodge caravan passed him on the double yellow line. The Dodge got in front of him and slammed his brakes before stopping. The unknown male then exited the vehicle and allegedly began yelling at the victim.
The victim got out of his car to speak with the suspect when he reportedly shoved him into the side of his car. The suspect then drove away. Officers attempted to catch the male but could not find the caravan. The van was last seen at the intersection of East McKee Street and Woodlyn Street.
