A Mosheim woman was taken into custody after it was deemed she was a danger to herself and others.
Police responded to the Hardee’s on Andrew Johnson Highway near midnight last night, to a report of two people acting suspiciously. A male and female were located by officers, and the female was identified as Vanessa Hartsell of Mosheim. According to the report, Hartsell could not stay still and made jerking movements consistent with meth use.
Hartsell performed poorly on all field sobriety tests, and it was determined she was a danger to herself and others. Hartsell was arrested and charged with public intoxication.
