The Greeneville Municipal Planning Commission will meet this morning and will discuss the planned Morgan Farm Unit Development. No formal action is needed from the board on the matter it will just be a discussion this morning.
On the agenda to be approved is a consideration to recommend the rezoning of a parcel of land to the City Council. The parcel is located along Snapps Ferry Road and zoning is currently R-1 (Low Density) Residential. The owner of the property is requesting a change in zoning to M-2 (High Impact Use). The purpose of the rezoning request is to allow the property to be used for a future business location.
Also up for consideration is Preliminary and Final Approval for a plat showing the combination of four (4) parcels of land located at 190 East Andrew Johnson Highway, known as the property for Mountain Motor Sports. The plat combines the four parcels into one (1) parcel being 2.54 acres in size. The property is currently zoned M-2 (High Impact Use).

The plat conveys ownership of portions of said parcels between The Town of Greeneville, SMN Investments, Inc. and A. Dave Wright.
The transfer of ownership and combination of the parcels will result in newly configured shapes and sizes of parcels owned by the Town of Greeneville, SMN Investments, Inc. and A. Dave Wright. The purpose of the plat is as a result of the construction of the Crowfoot Alley Parking lot and the redevelopment of properties facing West Depot Street by SMN Investments, Inc.
