A man who was seen on video smoking what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette at the South Greene Middle School, was later found and arrested due to the report of a domestic dispute.
On Wednesday, the Greene County Sheriff’s Office was notified about trespassing at the school on Debusk Road. In a video the male was seen riding a bike behind the school and acting suspicious. At a point after riding around the property the male took a chair and a stool, then reportedly took out a lighter from his backpack, an empty cigar tube, and marijuana. He reportedly proceeds to roll a marijuana cigarette. The report states he smoked the cigarette on school property and then went around the field collecting baseballs, and used the playground equipment.
The suspect, identified as Keaton Gregg of Greeneville, was later located on the 2100 block of Debusk Road after he reportedly threatened to stab two people. According to the one of the victims, an argument began because of a mess inside the kitchen. Gregg allegedly said he would stab the victim in the face.
Another victim stated once he arrived at the residence, Gregg started arguing with him and also threatened to get a knife and stab him. Due to both victims being placed in fear, Gregg was arrested with domestic assault. He was also charged with Criminal Trespass because of the earlier incident at SGMS.
