The National Weather Service is advising that there is a potential for some severe weather in our area later tonight and into the early morning hours.
Scattered strong and severe storms are expected to develop over eastern Kentucky and western Virginia this afternoon and evening and move south into the northern parts of Tennessee. Should those storms develop, they could impact our area between 8:00 PM and 1:00 AM. Storms could produce damaging winds up to 70 mph and large hail up to 1 1/2″ in diameter.
There are no watches or warnings for this area at this time, but conditions could change this evening.
