Several drugs were found during a traffic stop near East Church Street Sunday where a Greeneville man was arrested.
According to the report, an officer on patrol stopped a vehicle traveling 28 mph in a 20 mph speed zone. The driver, identified as Timothy L. Wihlen, admitted to officers he had marijuana and firearms inside the vehicle. A K9 was requested to the scene and reportedly gave a positive alert on the driver’s side.
During a search a safe was located with about seven ounces of Methamphetamine, 11.5 grams of Heroin, and about 100 baggies. Almost eight grams of Marijuana, other narcotics like Xanax, and two rifles were also found in the vehicle. Another safe was found in the bed of the truck that reportedly contained a large amount of ammo and a handgun.
Wihlen was given several charges including possessing a firearm during felony, driving while in possession of Meth, felony manufacture, delivery, sale or possession of Meth, speeding (paced), and other drug violations. He was arrested and transported to the Greene County Jail without incident.
