Holston Home For Children is calling all runners and walkers. A race opportunity is on the horizon, the Superheroes 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Walk.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th at Lakeway Christian Academy in White Pine at 9 AM and benefits Hope & Thrive Academy, their post-secondary educational program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Registration will begin at 8 AM, the 5K will kick-off at 9, followed by the 1 Mile Fun Walk shortly after.
There is a $35 registration fee before March 23rd. Register online: Runsignup.com/Superheroes5k. A $100 cash prize will be awarded to 5K top qualifiers and there will be prizes for the Best Superheroes Costumes.
