A man reported damage to the lock of his storage unit on Saturday.
Officers spoke with the man who said the lock on his storage unit had been drilled out. He had received a phone call that someone was parked at his storage unit Saturday, and he had gone to check on it due to a previous theft. He told police a blue and gray Chevrolet truck pulling a white metal homemade trailer, and a silver tracker-style vehicle were sitting in front of his unit and left when he entered the storage lot.
The vehicles went toward Moshiem on West Andrew Johnson Highway. Video footage has been requested from the area.
The victim said nothing was taken from the storage unit, but the lock had been damaged and was no longer usable.
