Greeneville City School Board of Education will meet this afternoon with this meeting being the first since school started and the new Student Board Representative, Hank Hope will be introduced.
On the agenda is consideration of a vehicle purchase for the Family Resource Center, approval of new hardware for the 41 GCS Special Educators totaling almost $57,000 and using ESSER funds, school trips with one to Washington D.C. and another to Carowinds Festival of Music, as well as approval of policy revisions on first and second reading.
Additionally, the board will hear reports from departments and consider a new position of School Nutrition Field Manager. The Field Manager will focus on improving food quality, increase the menu, and continue to move the program forward providing support to school nutrition leaders in each cafeteria.
The board will meet at 5 PM today at the Kathryn W. Leonard Administrative Office on 129 West Depot Street.
