A vehicle fire was reported near Clear Springs Road in Limestone Tuesday afternoon.
The victims from Johnson City stated they were traveling into Greeneville when they saw smoke coming from under the hood. They had to pull over into the emergency lane on the East Andrew Johnson Highway. The driver did not know of any issues with the vehicle.
While checking the hood of the vehicle, one of the victims did get burned on the right side of his face and his hair was also burned in the process. Medical treatment was reportedly refused. No other injuries were reported.
