High Fire Danger Conditions are expected this afternoon and early evening for our area.
The National Weather Service states that low relative humidities and gusty winds present an elevated fire risk today. Southwest winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 30 in the valley and 35 in the mountains is expected.
Despite increasing green spring vegetation, recent dry weather conditions will create the potential for fires to spread among dead litter. Use extreme caution and check with local burn permitting authorities whether you may burn outdoors.
