A Warrensburg Road man reported his dog stolen on Wednesday.
The victim said he saw the Walker Hound around 7:30 AM when he left the residence. The dog was attached to a chain at that time.
When the man’s wife returned home around 6:00 PM Wednesday, the dog was missing. The victim said he is positive the dog was stolen and did not run away due to the type of chain system on the animal. He said the dog could not have gotten loose from the chain on his own.
No suspects were known at the time the report was filed with the Greene County Sheriff’s Department. The dog is valued at $500.
