A woman was injured in an accident shortly before noon today on Warrensburg Road near Dulaney Road.
A Volkswagen car driven by a 16-year-old reportedly crossed the centerline into the path of a GMC Sierra driven by 30-year-old Lauren Gosnell. The front left of the juvenile’s vehicle struck the front left of Gosnell’s vehicle.
According to the accident report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol, Gosnell was transported by EMS to the Johnson City Medical Center. The juvenile was not injured in the wreck and received a citation for failure to exercise due care.
