An accident on East Andrew Johnson Highway Saturday morning resulted in minor injuries.
A Honda Accord driven by Brandon Hunter was reportedly going too fast to be able to stop before striking an SUV waiting to turn at the Snapps Ferry Bridge.
The driver of the SUV, Joseph Howlett, was transported to a local hospital. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
