Greene County Sheriff’s assisted Hawkins County on New Years Eve with a vehicle pursuit where one man was arrested after his vehicle was spiked on Interstate 81.
According to the report, Hawkins County was in a pursuit near exit 23 and entering Greene County when Greene County Sheriff’s took over. The vehicle, driven by James Scarberry of Russellville, was driving 93 mph and was spiked on I-81 at the 44-mile marker, causing the vehicle’s tire to go flat.
