The Greene County Sheriff’s Department responded to a property on Middle Creek Road in Afton after two unknown men were seen in the wood line and fired a shot at a victim.
The victim stated he was at his neighbor’s house Monday evening when a family member came over and said there were two men making gestures for her to go with them into the woods. Him and his neighbor split up in attempt to catch the men. The report states shots were fired into the ground to try and scare them away. One of the men, in all black, was seen with a shotgun and shot it at the victim, grazing his right arm. No medical attention was needed.
A witness said one man was tall and skinny wearing black and the other had camo on, but no other identifying features could be provided. The victim says there have been ongoing issues with an unknown party and a vehicle has been seen in the area that he believes is connected with the suspects in this incident.
No arrests were made at that time.
