An ATM robbery was reported at Apex Bank early Sunday morning.
At around 3:30 AM Sunday, Greeneville police were dispatched on a report of an ATM alarm at Apex Bank on East Andrew Johnson Highway.
Upon arrival, officers spotted a white Ford F250 work truck at the scene. Officers noticed a chain connected to the back of the vehicle with the door from the ATM attached to the other side of the chain.
The security footage showed the ATM door being removed from the machine and three money boxes grabbed from the ATM by three males.
The suspects were then spotted on camera running toward North Rufe Taylor Rd.
The Apex bank representative at the scene told police that it was unknown how much money was stolen from the ATM at the time of the report.
The investigation is continuing.
