A man was arrested with Public Intoxication yesterday after someone called regarding a man passed out, exposing himself to the public, in front of Ingles.
Officers responded to 615 Asheville Highway after 3 PM and found the man still passed out on a bench, with his pants down. The Store Manager stated they did not want the man on the property. The suspect, who was homeless, was not aware of the day or time and seemed confused according to the report. He had slurred speech, red eyes, and the officer stated he was very drowsy.
He was arrested for his safety and the safety of others and transported to the Greene County Jail.
