According to the National Weather Service in Morristown, showers and a few thunderstorms can be expected at times today and tonight. Some locations will likely see heavy rainfall, which may lead to localized flooding.
There is also a Wind Advisory in effect for Southeast Greene County from 8 PM this evening to 4 AM Friday. Southeast winds 15 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected in the higher elevations and foothills.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
