A woman was arrested yesterday after someone reported suspicious activity in the Walmart parking lot.
Officers arrived at Walmart on 3755 East Andrew Johnson Highway before noon finding the driver asleep in the vehicle, and the passenger, suspect Rewa Forest walking in and out of the vehicle. The driver stated they were in the parking lot waiting for money to come in electronically, so they can get gas. The driver did not appear to be under the influence but officers observed Forest making erratic movements, resulting in a search of the vehicle.
After receiving permission, two loaded syringes were found in a container between the driver and passenger seat. An officer noticed Forest kept reaching into her pockets. After searching her, a baggie with a white crystal substance believed to be Methamphetamine was found in her pocket. She was arrested for possession of Meth and drug paraphernalia.
